Gleave: Biography
Proving that talent and hard work will out, Gleave is a regular face across the globe at some of the worlds finest clubs and a producer whos material is never far away from the wallets of any self respecting jock.
Producer of tracks such as Firedevil, Needle Werk, Lights Out, Focus, The Word, Lucky Star, Community Service and most recently Late Night Thing, Gleave's material is eagerly anticipated by leading djs and clubber's alike. Releasing on labels such as Spinnin, Detox, Reset and Freefall his material is to be found on leading compilations and radio shows worldwide. Due to Gleave's constant high standard productions and rave reviews in magazines like Mixmag, DJ and M8 over the years, he has been asked to remix tracks by the likes of Markus Schulz, John O'callaghan, Agnelli & Nelson and Fergie.
As one half of Coast 2 Coast, Gleave has produced a catalogue of heavyweight dance-floor stormers including the massive debut track Home, after hearing an early demo of Home, Dj and well respected producer Tiesto requested to be part of the remix package. The Home release clocked in at No. 37 in the national UK Charts and featured on many worldwide albums including Ministry, Cream, Gatecrasher and Euphoria compilations.
A regular at leading club nights such as Passion (Coalville), Inside Out (Glasgow), The Vaults (Dublin) and The Gallery @ The Ministry Of Sound (London). Gleave is resident for Weekly promotion, Lost! in Belfast which has won many awards, including Best Club night @ the N.I.D.M.A. awards.
Having played ever major Irish club night and venue down the years, as well as holding a number of high profile and notable residencies, Gleave enjoys a reputation and following like no other. A regular fixture for festivals such as Planet Love. Global Gathering, Tidy Weekenders and Gatecrasher.
Recent highlights have included playing at the British Trance Awards, Inside Out's Massive New Years Eve Party and Sander Van Doorn's Album launch party in London. Further afield has seen Gleave complete two hugely successful tours of Australia with Cybergroove, Godskitchen and Paul Van Dyk and he continues to play all over the globe from Holland to Egypt, and Beyond.
Gleave is also to be found regularly on the White Isle with gigs over the years for Privilege. Eden, Sundance, Summum and Cafe Mambo with the last few years appearing regularly at Fergie's Excentric night and for Es Paradis.
Kicking off his career at the tender age of just 14 years old by winning the NI DMC Mixing Championship, he went on to tour with the Prodigy and Utah Saints and was named by Mixmag as a future hero for three years consecutively. Gleave has guested on many radio shows around the world and all of this was recognized by BBC Radio 1 who invited Gleave to play a peak time set in front of 20.000 New Years Eve revelers in Belfast for Pete Tong's Live Essential mix.
