Gleave is one of the true godfathers of Irish dance music! The man from Larne is a cornerstone of the club scene in Northern Ireland and has spun along side all of his fellow heavyweight names who helped shape the early dance scene. Kicking off his career at the tender age of just 14 years old by winning the NI DMC Mixing Championship, he went on to tour with the Prodigy and Utah Saints and was named by Mixmag as a future hero for three years consecutively. Gleave has been a guest on many radio shows around the world and all of this was recognized by BBC Radio 1 who invited Gleave to play a peak time set in front of 20.000 New Years Eve revellers in Belfast for Pete Tong's Live Essential mix.
Further afield has seen Gleave complete two hugely successfull tours of Australia with Cybergroove, Godskitchen and Paul Van Dyk and he continues to play all over the globe from Holland to Egypt and beyond.
Gleave's production material is eagerly anticipated by leading DJs and clubbers alike. Releasing on labels such as High Contrast, Spinnin, Detox, Reset/Spinnin, Cold Harbour/Armada, Nebula, Positiva, Nu Life, Xtravaganza and Freefall his material is to be found on leading compilations and radio shows worldwide. Due to Gleave's constant high standard productions and rave reviews in magazines like Mixmag, DJ, IDJ and M8 over the years, he has been asked to remix tracks by the likes of Sander Van Doorn, Markus Schulz, John O'Callaghan, Agnelli & Nelson and Fergie.
As one half of 'Coast 2 Coast' in the trance explosion of the late nineties and early noughties, Gleave has produced a catalogue of dance-floor stormers including the massive debut track 'Home'. After hearing an early demo of Home, Superstar Dj and well respected producer Tiesto requested to be part of the remix package. The Home release clocked in at No. 37 in the national UK Charts and featured on many worldwide albums including Ministry, Cream, Gatecrasher and Euphoria compilations. A decade later Gleave brings you his own modern rework of the trance classic under the name Gleave feat Paula McAleese – Home which is set to be a huge summer release on the Dutch, Housepital Records
Gleave's other pseudonym's are Jonas Blake (House) Audio Rehab (House) and Gleave Dobbin/ Gleave E D (Oldskool House)
House is a major part of the Gleave's arsenal along side Deep House & Progressive House sounds all of which he spins on his LOST Sessions radioshow on DI.FM each month, and in his live club sets.
Having played every major Irish club night and venue down the years, as well as holding a number of high profile and notable residencies, Gleave enjoys a reputation and following like no other making him the ‘IRISH KING OF CLUBS’ Gleave has also made numerous summer festival appearances at Planet Love, plus Global Gathering, Tidy Weekenders and Gatecrasher.
